Perhaps I'm behind the times on this, but I found this to be a GREAT website! Check it out!

I gave up on my UI after it was completely FUBARed by LoY. I may spend the time to get it going again but... Who needs FEIGN death when I can do the real thing _________________ Is it paranoia when they really ARE out to get you? |

I've messed with trying custom UI's, never could get a 'package' that I thoroughly enjoyed. I was able to pick and choose different windows from different UI's that I liked and I made one that I liked one day. Then, a patch came, and fucked it up. I put in several hours trying to repair it. I finally got it fixed and workable again when another patch came. I spent another few hours trying to fix it again when I said 'fuck this shit' and went back to using the default. I'm probably not going to ever use another UI Mod unless they let us ADD IN our own windows in addition with the default ones. I'm too tired of having to spend hours and hours messing with it every time they patch. The only thing I miss is having my personal status, group, and target windows with % signs in them. I just approximate now. Maybe someday I'll find those three windows that are kept up-to-date by some UI-intuitive person, and I'll use a mod again. Until that time comes, /bye UI mods. Not sure about other classes, but this timer is an absolute necessity for me as an enchanter. I simply absolutely must know when my mezzes are about to expire so that I can lock them down again before the first one expires. I sometimes see other enchanters who appear to wait for their mezz to break and then remezz it. But for me, having mezz #2 wear off while still relocking down mezz #1 is a sure way to wipe your group. Once I lock them I don't let them up.
That's all I use the timer for. And I use the old analog one at that. I tried the sliders, I tried the multiple timers, didn't like them. Went back to analog for mezzes and a simple cooking timer for hastes and everything else I cast on myself also and time it that way. |

I think that might be overkill. I tend to have a good sense of time and I Don't use any timer for mezzes. My internal clock is the best, and that way I don't need to worry about any kitchen timers or whatever to convolude my playing style. _________________ Xatie the SuperGnome |

Shiloch: I have been using "Icebear" UI for group window for a long time, and never have had a minutes problem with it. Here is a screenshot and a link to EQInterface. Give it a shot.

I use that Icebear group window too ...although I manually removed the "F1,F2,etc.." parts and I resize it to remove the crap I don't care about seeing "> |
