Yesterday I noticed that I had the Staunch Recovery AA available. And I just received Steadfast Servant in May 
After digging around on the SOE forums, I found:

You will not be penalized for using the extra reward from now until the next update though, so feel free to play with it while you have it.
The issue with having 6 rewards but logging in with only 1 is not part of this issue. It appears this has something to do with the login server not syncronizing properly with your account but is usually easily fixed by camping to desktop and logging back in again.

At one point they were saying that they were just going to let everybody keep the extra one, but then they found out that some people lost one due to the bug.
