Greetings, all. Many of you will not know me, but a select few of the old timers here will remember me from long ago. I have been offline from EQ for literally a year or so now (at least) due to flight school and double majoring in Graphics Design as well. I am off for the holidays, and have found that my account ha literally eroded away to nothingness, so I decided to just stay off until after I am out of college and settled on my feet.
Many of you, especially Whizbang, Zahashah, and a few others (you know who you are ) are constantly in my thoughts and I wanted to bring a little holiday spirit by stopping by and wishing you all the best of whatever traditions you follow.
I have been graced with kind permission to at least stay on this forum and stay in touch with you all. I give my dearest thanks for that.
For those that wish to know, I am still in school for becoming an airline pilot, and as soon a I can I will be certifying on the Boeing B767-300ER. I am also majoring in Graphics design and am actually using that in conjuntion with my airline career to design airline liveries (translation - "liveries" is the jargon for the paint schemes and colors of airliners).
I am currently still in Pueblo, CO, and now have my own house, so any fellow Walker passing through is welcome to stop in at any time.
Anyway I have much to accomplish this eve of x-mas eve, so I must part, and wish you all the best of the holidays, and Happy Solstice as well **smiles** You all take care and DO feel free to email me at any time. Please check out my web site linked in my signature banner (insert shameless plug here). Be safe and well, all.
**hugs**
<<EDIT>> For those who are wondering who the heck I am and why I might sound familiar, think "Klaa" or "Knikolaes" _________________ Christopher N. Dittmar

Many thanks!
Aye, something about barreling through the air at 500 MPH that is so soothing and relaxing -- helps me to think at night. _________________ Christopher N. Dittmar

Not only is the REAL flying going GREAT, but so is my Graphics Design as well . . .
http://guildofdarkhaven.org/flying/files/FINAL.zip
I did this as my final project for Fine Arts this past semester. It portrays my virtual side of flying - the part I do right here at home on my computer. I am also building an home-build Flight Deck in a spare room this Summer for training purposes.
This video scored me an "A" in Fine Arts, and it also scored me a scholarship as well as entry to Graphcis Design II next semester (bypassing the need to take Graphics Design I) . The instructor saw this and she practically stalked me until I reached the decision to shut her up by double majoring in Graohics Design alongside my aviation career.
I had made videos like this for EQ a well long ago, but as since lost em through time. This one, well, It's long -- 20 minutes, and is in WMV format so anyone should be able to easily play it. In my own modesty it is NOT my best work, but it plays very well for somthing I only put 2 weeks into for a quick class project.
Lorie - -I replied to thy email, my friend **smiles**
Off to bed as I just danced VERY hard for my Solstice holiday
**hugs to all**
Goodnight and save havens.
