I downloaded a movie from Morpheus and cannot get the picture to work. Sound sometimes works, but picture never does. 1st time downloading a movie. Codex problem should be fixed, had a pop up saying media player needed to update codex and downloaded it but still not working. I check 'use media player visualization' on the Morpheus player but something's messed up, any suggestions? _________________ Adalric Brandl - Gimp of Innoruuk |

Here's some links to the few codecs I recommend you get. The less you have to install the better, as many conflict w/ each other and can hose your system...
*edit* While free-codecs.com has a TON of codecs, do not... I repeat... DO NOT install everything you can. Don't even download the codec packs (like the Nimo pack), as it will hose your system, and you'll be left wimpering in the corner while you mutter "what did I do?!" over and over again. kk, thanks.

That is really all you should need for viewing downloaded video files.
If that doesn't work, let me know. You can go to http://gspot.headbands.com/ and download the gspot utility, which is great for troubleshooting which codec, or which part of your codec, is messed up. _________________

There is another utitlity, which isn't quite as good as gspot, for figuring out codecs. AVIcodec.

Hope that helps. _________________
