Hi Ya All,

Well after being stuck at level 59 for what seemed like forever, I finally Dinged 60 last night. Not only that but I secured the level as well. I just had to share this with everyone.

My Hubby was also very proud and relieved also, because I guess I have been a little grumpy lately, (or so he says).

Hey, can I get your opinions on something now?

Should I start on AA's now, or continue leveling, I would like to hear any of your thoughts on this.

Hope to meet more of you soon.

Hi Lorayne and Grats!!!

Here's my opinion on the AA vs levels thing...

Most people will tell you to go straight exp until you're 65. I think AA experience is a little easier to get at 65 than at lower levels. That's fine, but it's really up to what is fun for you. Alot of classes have some class defining AA's that are not only fun, but useful (Archery Master / Endless quiver for rangers, Fading memories for bard, etc etc). If you have a class defining AA that you look forward to, maybe put some or all of your experience toward AA for a little bit.

Just a tip. Level 60 is half a level, so it should go pretty quickly. I would recommend finishing that first then split your exp to AA if you want. Sometimes I would put 50/50 exp and then when I get close to finishing an AA point, I might bump it up to 90% or 100% AA experience.

But the important thing is what makes it fun for you. If you are bored with grinding regular experience and need a break, try AA. If you are excited about having a level 65, then go for that first. Smile

Hope you have fun whichever path you choose.

"" is fine with me too. But I don't have it. I think I sometimes am. Boredom is a human emotion.

Considering that last statement, I think Jenny is ready to be kicked up to a mangement position, possibly director of software development.

Personally I would take the road to 65. As a general rule of thumb 65>all for most classes. Some exceptions would be rangers getting EQ/AM3, but in most cases getting level 65 with very few aa's will be stronger than a level 60 with say 30 aa's.

Keep in mind this is a pretty general statement. If you don't see yourself hitting 65 quickly there may be a few basics you want to get to lay the foundation for future grinding.

The most scientific approach might be to ask Jenny Evil or Very Mad

Jenny, should a person level to 65 first or stop and grind AA's?

Do you think I could ever be a general rule of thumb 65>all for most classes? I will let you know if I do not.
