so Shiloch what have you heard about the new Intel cpu unit ?? i have not found much on it yet but sounds like they may leave it open for over clocking (ya right LMAO) Shocked

Actually, if you've never heard of Shuttle (http://us.shuttle.com), they've already talked about shipping their newer models with the proper motherboard specs and cooling hardware to run processors at slightly overclocked speeds. Smile

From what I've heard, the most recent AMD processors (the Athlon 64 3000+ and the Athlon 64FX) are quite overclock-ready. With the advent of AMD's "Cool 'N Quiet" technology, the clock speed can be scaled up or down on the fly as processor demand changes - assuming you have a motherboard that will support it.

FedEx is currently forcing me to play an entertaining game of 'Click the Refresh Button on the Tracking Information Page'. They are withholding my motherboard. I will have my "Cool n' Quiet" functionality, damn it.

I WILL HAVE IT.
