A crude attempt at tying Bon and Xec together as siblings:

The red headed paladin fell to her knees from the pain inside her head, it was as if a gnomish firework had exploded inside. Once the pain and temporary blindness left she experienced odd visions dancing in her mind: two children romping through the fields of West Karana, a forge where a man crafted every type of metal armor imaginable, barbarians bringing fish and lion steaks to the man and his family in exchange for the armor, and a woman teaching the same children to fight in order to protect themselves and each other in the wild lands of the Karanas. Then as fast as they came the images are gone and a voice fills her being: HE LIVES! "Who lives?", she gasps in astonishment, unaware that the voice was without form or substance. Then a clear and almost real vision was before her, a human male with the same red hair and a red moustache and goatee, wearing crimson plate armor and wielding a weapon appearing to come straight from the Hate plane. She was befuddled at the whole ordeal but was filled with amazement at what it could mean.
At the same time across Norrath in Freeport a man known to be a shadow knight has a whisper enter his mind: TRAVEL TO QEYNOS, YOU WILL FIND WHAT YOU SEEK. As fast as a cat he brings his horned weapon to bear on the nearest guard but realizing that it wasn't the guard who spoke, in fact it was no person that uttered those words. However the guard (who is in allegiance to Lucan D'Lere) has been waiting for just such a thing to happen, as a pretense to have at the swaggering dark knight. The guard lets out the shrill whistle of the Freeport Militia to summon assistance, and lunges at the dark knight with death in his eyes. The dark knight knew that there was only one recourse and it would mean being hunted in Freeport for the rest of his days. He shoved the twin horns of his weapon into the guards throat and felt the weapon bite and draw out some of the guards life force. This caused the guard to stop dead in his tracks and gape in astonishment at the weapon that literally bit him, the dark knight knew this was the break he needed and quickly muttered an incantation which caused the guard to double over in pain and begin wretching. By now he could hear the steps of other guards dead on the run and knew he could not end the fight. Quickly he ran and ducked into a secret wall known only to shadow knights, necromancers, clerics and casters who were known to Innoruuk. He quickly made his way through the tunnels and out to the desert east of Freeport. It seemed his decision had been made for him, it was time to journey to Qeynos and find out if his thoughts were accurate................
