I mean, cmon people!!! Elect Arnold????!!????

Don't you realize that he and Jon Milius were greenlighted to do Conan the King? With all this political work where will Arnold find the time to make this sequel. Jon Milius was the Director and writer of the first film(Barbarian) which was awesome. I wont mention that other sequel though, which Milius didnt do.

Cmon Californians. Lets get our priorities straight. A new Conan movie would do alot more for the state than Arnold running it........

Were I a Californian, I would've voted for the stripper for sure /nod

But as far as Arnold goes... I can't wait to see what he does when there's a problem. Just break out the Bazooka, paint some mud on his face, and blow shit up I'm guessing.

Its not really that big of a deal. The governor of California is nothing but a figure head anyway. I can't think of anything governors are directly responsible for that could make or break any type of policy or educational system besides legalizing slot machines!

Be that as it may Shi, the governor still does have some power and I would have prefered someone with a bit more experience, like say Clint Eastwood, at least he has been a mayor for crying out loud. Oh well, gonna be an interesting 3 years.

Had Sonny Bono not hit a tree, he would have made an excellent Gov. for CA.

Now "I'll be back" has a whole new meaning. :attenho:

Not even getting into it about the election, since the Graffe discussions about it alone have taken years off my life.

I will say I didn't know about "Conan the King." I loved those comics growing up. Sad

A former Govenor of Massachusetts (Bill Weld or Paul Celluci, not sure which anymore) appointed Billy Bulger, brother of the FBI's ten Most Wanted (and longest appearance of anyone on that list) gangster Whitey Bulger, to the Chancellor of the Univeristy of Massachusetts System. When he wasn't busy being at U.S. Senate committee members for harboring a fugitive he managed to rack up a 1 million dollar bill for office renovations, and just rolled over as present govenor Mitt Romney proposed education cut after education cut when he took office. Govenors have more than enough power.

And yes there is a movement to ammend the constitution to repeal the part about having to be a Naturally Born Citizen to be elected president. Sen. Oren hatch from Utah(?) is a supporter of this bill.
