I got my email today and my EQ Daughter "Fionnuala" sent me this...

Yesterday one of our members followed his roommate into the Plane of Fear. He took another one of our guildmates with him. The roommate just wanted to "check things out", not realizing that this was a gate out only zone. So .. the went in. Fazelin died 6 times, Shijjin died 4. About 9PM a group of about 9 of us all 55+, most over 62, joined them and prepared to do a CR. We zoned in, immediately aggroed and died. At this point, seeing it was their 7th and 5th death, the petitioned a GM for help. The GM got all our corpses to the zone in point and we got more help. We went back in. Our lvl 65 cleric was able to rez most of us, before dying himself and then we all died.. again. Meanwhile I'm getting frustrated "..." we're on our way back..trying to figure out what we're gonna do.. more of our 62+ crowd shows up and we get there and there's someone in our chat channel who's asking all sorts of questions, like who's the cleric, how many corpses, etc. Now I dont know who this is so I figure its a friend of Papajo's or someone from Epic Heros. I get to the zone in for PoF and there are like 6-7 Walkers. Surname Wyldechild is one I remember. The one asking the questions was like Anninr or Annir, something like that. Any, they tell all of us to wait there. I had to consent Reebe and Reebe and someone else named Riversomething... anyway... after about 45 minutes they had taken all of our corpses to the "safest" spot along the west wall and cleared the mobs and started rezzing. While we were being rezzed they managed the aggro around us and kept us alive. Then they stayed until the last one of us ported out safely. It was very cool!

Hi Lilly, yeah I was part a group of six that went into Fear and broke it to get these people their bodies back. Riverdane, Pavel, Reebe, Logiktue, Vven and myself. All were Walkers except Vven, so our guildtag got a lot of nice things said about it )).

They recognized my name because I was the one talking with them in their channel, but the other five members of the break in group put up an outstanding effort in a tough break of Fear when the DT minis were up. Excellent teamwork, aggro work, crowd control, slows, heals... was a beautiful thing. I haven't had fun like that in quite a while. The mob bodies were starting to litter the camp spot pretty good.

Colorful stories aside, bottom line is that they were pretty stuck. I remember being stuck like that and it was horrible. I think all six of us were happy to help them out ).
