Sorry to our HoH group after the raid last night for leaving so abruptly! The LD monster wiped us... and for some reason we could not get logged back in. I had Internet access and could run the patcher, but no luck after that. And since it was 2:30 a.m. Rolling Eyes

we gave up. Sorry!

Anyway, what was the deal with the mass LDs last night? And thanks, Bon, for the raid last night. Was fun despite the crazy LDs.

The LDs last night were most likely caused by the ISPs fixing a security exploit on their routers. Just recently, Cisco sent out an advisory saying there was a problem with the code that would allow hackers to essentially shut down router ports. Those ISPs needed to load new fixed code onto the routers, and unfortunately that meant the routers had to go down. Since there's a lot of Cisco routers on the network, that's a whole lot of bouncing. Sad

I was in the same boat you were, Yunk. I went LD about 5 times, then I couldn't establish a connection. I could patch, or surf the net just fine, just no EQ :/
