This is a little fact for ya, I want to see if you can come up with the answer. Or who comes closest.

---Givin a 0.1 milimeter thick sheet, after folding it onto itself 100 times, roughly what would the thickness be?----
(for those who dont know what a milimeter is just picture a regular peice of paper=)

And I've tried this before, and no piece of paper can be folded in half more than 7 times, even a sheet of newspaper. Not sure exactly how it went, but that's close. Try it.

lol I know you can't fold it that many times, but if you COULD=) think abstractly!

I know it doubles in thickness every time you fold it but the mathematical equation to express that is eluding me at the moment. Bash's makes sense tho. Physics and stuff were many years ago, I don't have to do that kind of math anymore. Please don't make me think too hard, it hurts.

Bash's equation yields:

126,765,100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 mm, which seems to be correct.

Actually, Seven times isn't the max. The limiting factor seems to be th width of the paper you use. But I've read about someone successfully folding paper 11 times.

as to the answer to the question, I could be obtuse and say that its the same piece of paper and will always be 0.1mm thick. no matter how many times you fold it ">
