You say you closed all programs but did you logout turn off and turn back on? If not try that and if you still can not get rid of it you will have to do it from DOS probably like Gryfndor said. Ok, I downloaded Analyze That from Kazaa its a 200mb or so file and it doesn't work! I've tryed to delete it but it says its being used by another program...i've close everything and it still says that. Also to note is that everytime i access the folder my mem usage goes from like 10mb to 260mb and my computer freezes up for a while. I dont know if theres something I can do to disable the security in the folder and delete the file even though its being used by another program. I'm useing Win XP if anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks

If you are not using NTFS boot to a floppy with DOS and delete it. If you can't do that you need to find who is using it. Open up task manager and kill all progs that are not needed see if you can delete. Search your registry for any reference to the program and delete. Look in you your start up directory make sure its not called out. _________________ Gryfndor 65 Wizard

Ok, it worked somehow and I was able to delete the file. All I did was put the file into my Kazaa folder then log into Kazaa and click on "My Kazaa" then from there I chose the file and deleted it.

F8 is your friend. On boot up click F8 and it will give you a list of where to boot to and pick command pompt. Then delet the file from there.
