Mouse and Keyboard

I never ever have problems with my mouse and keyboard except 2 times:

1 - The mouse will often be stuck in the top left corner once I get to the character select screen.

2 - The keyboard will become inactive after camping out. Note that it is only inactive on the EQ login screen. Once I end the EQ session, it acts normally.

Both are USB. Any ideas???

I have the same problem w/ the KB, but not often.

Are you using EQW?

if you ask, you are not.
No idea where that bug come from. I have the same config (both KB and mouse USB) and can see it sometime (not often)

I think this is a program bug I get the same problem. I have looked on the support site but haven't found anything that looks like it directly pertains to this.

I've had to deal with the mouse freezing up in the top left hand corner as well. The only way I could get out of it is Ctrl+Alt+Delete to kind of hard crash EQ as it hits a point that "freezes". Once it kicks me to desktop, I am then able to go back in, and it doesn't freeze at character select screen then. Never had my keyboard lock up on me, though.

I've had the keyboard lockups sometimes, also. My Keyboard and mouse are not USB, though, so its not USB-related. I've never had the mouse problem, though.

I get the freezing-mouse-in-the-top-left-corner syndrome about once every ten-or-so start ups. no idea why.

The PC I play Touches on has this same problem sporatically, my main PC does not. I havent been able to get to the bottom of it =/

An odd realization concerning the mouse issue: Having been camping LGuk for the past 2 weeks, I have not had this issue. Last night I logged in Nexus and it happened 2 times trying to log back in tonight.

Could it be associated with the zone you log out in?

Guys, what motherboards are you running, and/or what systems. There is updates for USB dependant on your chipsets you can download, these corrected my own issues. Let me know and I will point you in the right direction!
