Just curious: I see quiet lot of peeps with photoshop installed, and the price of this software is very expensive, so I wonder how many registered user we have <img src= ">

Fieni, you neglect to realize just cuz my photoshop is registered to me doesn't mean I bought it. They have things called keygens Razz

I hate gimp. I have to use it at work sometimes.

Whiz had Photoshop 5.5 and I'm not sure where he got it from -- a friend or from work, but we have that installed on our machines. I went out and bought the 7.0 upgrade for $150 dollars and I LOVE IT.

Here are some of the things you can do with PS 7.0:

Click on Photoshop and then pick from whatever you want to do. You can make a logo go up in flames (I used this trick to make the flaming sword for Sanebla's sig) or have electricity rippling through it. One time I made a sig for someone with the last name Sylvermist so I used the "silver" tutorial to make it gleam like it was made out of silver.

I think there's also a spell check option in Photoshop 7.0!

Anyways, whenever there are people new to art or photo-editing programs in general, I tend to recommend Paint Shop Pro to them because it's cheaper. <img src= ">

yeah, photoshop is expensive. However you find some deal on ebay, old version + upgrade altogether for 200bucks. not bad for unregistered version.

Why do you need to register it? I've never called in for customer support. I've got you and Kael for that when something goes wrong.

Whatever happened to ripping it off your school? Until a few HD formats, I had a ton of expensive software including Photoshop I got from my school. All gone now though save one program which is outdated so I haven't reloaded it.

I use photodeluxe.. dont recommend it. Its an easier interface but very limited. =(

Under Lorie's reccommendation, my dad went out and bought Photoshop 7.0, so now I have it. Currently enrolled in the class at college (perhaps I'll actually finish the class this time $:\$ )

I have PhotoShop 7 and love it!! But when I make my dolls and/or banners I use a combination of three programs, PhotoShop, Paint Shop Pro, and NetStudio.

EDIT: Oh and mine is registered to me.
