EQ has proven to be far too addicting for me...I think that, when I decide to give it up, I will NOT be getting EQ2.
Also add to that the fact that I think Verant is really being shitty about creating EQ2 when EQ1 still doesn't work....

Not that I've been on recently, but EQ seems to have lost alot of the fun since (the dissappointment of) Luclin. I agree that they are "leaving us behind" in starting EQ2. I think I would enjoy the PS2 version of EQ, but don't plan on getting a PS2 just for that.
Actually, I am EAGERLY awaiting 'the yet again delayed' Star Wars Galaxies. I have been tracking its progress almost since the day they announced it 2 (3?) years ago. I have signed up for the beta evaluation (my odds of being picked should be about equal to winning the lottery).
Riding the wake of Episode 2, I expect the onslaught of 'regenerated' SW fans will make its release an interesting fiasco.
I will post my character's name and which 'galaxy' I am on/in.

I think I'm pretty well done, actually. RL has kept me far too busy to play lately, and what free time I have had has been mostly devoted to Jedi Knight II (which Abin and I play together at least one or two nights a week).
I really miss you guys, but I think I'm at the point where, now that I've kicked the habit, I honestly wonder how I managed to play EQ and have a life. The answer, of course, is that I didn't, and I don't think I could go back.
