I'm just posting a couple of screenshots from my travels around Norrath, et al. I'm sure this stuff isn't very new to most around here, but maybe not:

1. EQ's new corpse decay conning-system seems to be a tad off:


2. A dead wolf-form PC. I only found it interesting b/c it was half-invisible. I'm sure there's a good reason for it:

It's true! Gnomes really don't have a brain!

BTW, the half invisible wolf you saw means it was an enchanter. Druids and rangers get a solid wolf form, but shaman pets and enchanters have this half invisible look.

I've written the Developer's Corner to tell them about the blank language, and they wrote back and told me I was WRONG.

I've seen the inside of a couple of skulls in the game. Halflings and Drow to be specific.

Type "/lang help" to see the names of all the languages you know. Kittyspeak is simply "Vah'Shir." Incidentally, do you speak Gnomish yet? ">

And to do the self portrait cam, click to a third person view that is not locked behind your head. Using ALT and the keypad, you can force the camera low and right up against you. All my recent screenshots are done this way.

I figured the blank skill should be for some "cat" language, but it seemed like it should have a name if I'm able to master it. Maybe it's unpronounceable, like the Symbol Formerly Known as Prince.

I can almost swear that there are horns coming out of the top of that gnome head. Mmmm. The inside of the human head isn't nearly as scary - even playable.

And a screenshot I took today. Unfortunately, since they don't have a "self portrait" camera, it isn't real good quality. The pally siblings:

Alermik speaks Gnomish ... in a sense. I've practiced every language as soon as possible just to learn it, so it's in the end possible to speak/understand them, but haven't gotten anything beyond the first point. Some of the languages I can vaguely make out through their scrambled forms and others are complete gibberish

I think today may have been one of the last Leniely sightings. Kat's given most of her equipment away (including some to me today), but I think she'll stay around for sentimental value, at least. But you'd have to ask Kat on this one.

Self portraits are fairly simple, if you don't care too much about getting your whole body in the shot.

Run up to a wall, face it, then switch your camera view and/or angle until you get up close and personal. Move forward or back as necessary.

I do that larn.. I even back up to get my whole body.. i've done quite a few that way and they came out awsome.. lemme see if i can post one and show ya... bear with me i still cant figure this stuff out.
