I don't want to be whiner. But I sure get tired of swapping spells for casting buffs but its my job so I just do it. But egad, where does it say I have to try and mem the spells multiple times?

I open my spell book, it closes.
I open it again and start to mem, it aborts and closes.
I open it again and finish meming the one spell and it closes.
I open it again and get the second spell memed and it waits for me to close it. WTHey! The one time I'd like for it to close itself!?!

I go to swap the old spells back in and it closes.

Is it just me?

Sounds like you're bugged.

But something kind of funny. My brother got me into playing EQ. He played a wizard on a different account, but we used the same computer. So after a while I figured out that I could hook up a hotbutton to go off whenever I pressed forward, so I tied Sense Heading to it, then Forage after SH was maxed.

So I finish up playing and leave for the day, shortly before my brother came home. When I talked to him the next day he started going off about how every time he pressed forward, he would sit down and open his spellbook. hehehehehe. I kind of just laughed for a minute then went and fixed it for him. Funny stuff.

You're not alone Julls, it does the same to me, several things need to be fixed that were unfixed with the last patch.

And that's funny as hell Mildane. Did you ever tell him that it was you who caused him to sit all the time? heh heh

Same thing happening to me, and every time it happens I think I'm getting attacked from behind. Seems pretty random and I can't reproduce it at will.

Was talking to Whiz about this last night, we thought it had to do with being levitated, since if I click off O'Keil's it doesn't happen at all.

Happens to me all the time. The only time I have not had it happen is when I'm sitting on my horse. I don't know how that makes a differance.

Happens to me, leved or not, although I haven't had it interrupt my memming a spell yet.
