I've been trying to figure out how you did that nifty colored vertical line for message board quotes, but wasn't able to find any of your posts here that you quoted anything in  Could you let me know how to do that, please?  "> |

you have to use HTML.
What I do most of the time is something like:
<div
style="
border-left-width: medium; border-left-style: solid; border-left-color: blue; padding-left: 1em; ">
Place here the text I want to quote
</div>
You create a sub div and change its style to:
- Have a border (medium) on the left, blue and with indetation.
You can always do a 'view source' on an HTML page you wonder how it is done
One comment: using raw HTML may have some pervert effect if you make mistake, as it may break the whole thread.
