CPU is running like a dream. EQ also, kinda laggy. Checking into that more ram, not sure this will take more or not.
If I turn off msgloop in con/alt/del....there no loggin to game, so I think thats important somehow.

I find it strange that the audio driver requires you to have some sort of engine running in order to function properly. Oh well, if you got the majority of the junk off, that's really all that matters. EQ is still a little laggy for me with a dual processor system and a top-of-the-line video card, so that is to be expected. I'm not sure if the RAM will help you that much or not.

Usually, IE6 SP1 is forced on you when you do Windows Update.
At any rate, hell ya. Download IE6 SP1. Internet Explorer is so bugified that you need to have it as up-to-date as possible.
I can assure you to a reasonable degree of certainty that it is not going to mess up your system.
