I never understood the bsd lovers either ..that's another os that always seemed overly clunky to me. I liked Unix Sys V and Sun Solaris..and Linux ...but bsd was always the high maintenance version of Unix ...always required extra work to get things going....and always just "that" much different that it requires extra work to port. |

I run bsd since... well, 85 or 86?... I was running a vax 780 then 785 under BSD. yep yep. The few time I tried to install linux, I reformated and installed bsd on top. was done in much less time.
