Any ideas?
Katniip and a lvl 12 alt are both in the bazaar, both crash after char select but before game comes up, it crashes to server select. I made a lvl 1 alt in Kaladim, could log in np. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this? I already tried deleting my bazaar files and repatching, didn't do it. Any help would be appreciated. Katniip Vah Shir Savage Lord |

I had trouble with this on one of my alts. I went LD zoning her into East Commons. I tried for 2 weeks to get her to log and she would crash everytime. I deleted EC zones, repatched, contacted tech support ( who gave me the line it is my router's fault) contacted GM's etc ..
What finally worked? I logged her in on my Hubby's puter and ran her through to a different zone. She has worked fine every since. This same bug hit my hubby on FV server zoning into CB. He could NOT get his character to load. So next day he hopped on my puter, loaded and zoned him fine and character has worked fine since.
In both our cases, it was an LD on zone in that started it and all our other characters would load fine. Don't know if it is exactly what is happening to you.. but might be worth a shot.

I once had a problem similar to that when zoning into TD. The solution was to delete the character files, not the zone files.. the hotkey settings, the friend list, all the files that contain the information about your character. I was able to log back in after than, then restore my hotkeys after I logged back out. There are a couple character files to look for, but if you sort by name you should have no problem. |
