Hi There,
Well I'd like to apply too. However I don't want to post application too soon or under wrong thread. I have my application all ready, but don't want to post in wrong place or too soon.
I've gotten to know a few of you. Would love the chance to get to know MORE of you! I think you have a great thing going here with Walkers and I'd love to become part of the family.
Ssooooo... When can I post my app?!? /big cheesy grin

Hello Walkers!
I too would like to post an application to Walkers. There's no way I can come close to the mastery of Talv's app, since I'm the shy quiet type <grin> but I'll post it for public view anyway.
Please let us know where to post and it will be here today.
I'm really looking forward to getting back into the Alliance (former RE member here).

WOOOHOOOO! Hey guys! Don't let my flowery prose, and mastery of the written word, sway you. I am a gimp. Walkers knows I'm a gimp. I'm only hoping to get in under some goverment program.
I refer to TITLE X: Ranger Quotas Subparagraph 1-All guilds, regardless of stature, levels and accomplishment, MUST guild RANGERS of a diminished capacity (i.e. Gimp Rangers). There must be a total of 4(FOUR) on every guilds active roster.
You two rock, you have always rocked, and you've carried my sorry butt around Norrath many times ... so I'll wave to you from the special seats :~)

Application to Walkers Guild
Bashdur Kinslayer Level 61 Paladin Brell Serilis
Playing Time (EST): 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM weekdays, all day weekends.
Keys: Sebilis, Howling Stones
Flags: Lair of Terris Thule (PoNb) Plane of Valor/Plane of Storms PoI Factory (Thanks Walkers!!!) Need 2 Medallions and Sash for Bastion of Thunder
Tradeskills: Brewing 250 + Grandmasters Trophy Baking 135 (Mostly to support my eating habit) Pottery 139 (mostly to make Thurgadin Gate Potions)
Equipment: Bashdur's Stuff I am fairly well equipped at this time thanks to some lucky rolls and a little help from my friends along the way. Always looking for better.
Faction: I have gone from ally to dwarves in Thurgadin to max ally to Kael giants. I am currently working my way back to ally with dwarves and CoV. I’ve never been seriously faction conscious, but I have the time and drive to change any faction that would benefit the people I play with (see Brewing 250 above).
Personal: 43 year old married father of three including another EQ addict. We relocated from Cincinnati, OH to Charleston, SC in 1987. I am currently the Senior Estimator for a heavy/highway construction firm in Charleston. I enjoy sports of all kinds (in particular NFL Football), boating, and golfing (not much time for more than that).
Bashdur was born in March 2001. I kind of just worked on my own until I reached level 30. At that time I met some very nice folks and joined JinXed. I really enjoyed my time with JinXed, and made many good friends there. Somewhere around level 35 I began playing with Brieah and Divad, and we have become inseparable ever since. Unfortunately after nearly 18 months with JinXed, I was finding that I had a lack of opportunities for advancement. The people in JinXed are fine people, and I truly enjoy the casual game play there, but it was getting to the point that the three of us were unable to group with any of our guild mates because we ended up passing everyone by ten levels. The decision to leave JinXed was not taken lightly, and Brieah, Divad, and I agonized for months before making the decision to move on.
We joined Razor’s Edge just a few weeks before they disbanded, and since then we have been sitting back searching for a guild that would give us what we want out of this game. I would prefer to stay within the Alliance, and I would prefer a more “family” oriented guild like Walkers as opposed to any of the hardcore raiding guilds. I have read your history, charter, loot and raid policies, and I am in complete agreement with your philosophy. I play EQ for fun and if it ever becomes anything more than fun, I will find a new pastime. I am not in this game for loot or tons of platinum or to become uber. I sincerely enjoy when a friend obtains a new uber item, especially if I was able to help. I don’t have a lot of pp and you won’t find me in the bazaar selling very often, because I prefer to pass down unusable items to friends.
I enjoy raiding, and you could count on me to attend most every raid called (assuming RL isn’t calling). I feel I am a fairly competent player who will follow, lead, or just get out of the way as necessary. I’m not afraid to take a risk when asked (it’s just a game right?). I also very much enjoy grouping with friends for a casual evening of EXP or hunting down a mob for someone. What I am looking for is to become a long-standing member of Walkers, and to remain there throughout my playing days. I am looking forward to making new friends and helping out in any capacity I can. I was invited to attend your PoI Dragon raid as a quest recently (the time when the %$@#$ Junk Beast ate our gnome). I was really impressed by the discipline shown by the raiding party.
You will be receiving applications from Brieah and Divad at the same time you receive mine. As I said above, we have been playing together nightly for over 18 months, and we intend to join a guild together. We have been through the difficult decisions of leaving one guild, joining another that was disbanded weeks later, and all of the difficulties that have emerged in the last few months within the Alliance. If it should happen that one of us is blackballed or do not receive enough supporting votes, we will move on together.
If you have any questions, please contact me in game. I am really looking forward to becoming a member of the Walkers team.
(Sorry for the long rambling post, but Talv set the bar awful high)

Ooh Pretty green text.
Talv, Rangers by nature are always gimp, and will always have a reserved section in the special seats. So don't feel bad, get a summon: ale item and enjoy the ride Nerple Reveler 62 Vile Tunarean Warder _________________

Brieah Stormhart 62 Shaman 16 AA with a goal of Mass Group Buff The Tribunal Spells: Missing 2 spells for full book: Remove Greater Curse, Malo Keys: Seb, HS Flags: PoV, PoS, PoNb Skills: I’ve dabbled in all the trade skills, Alchemy 186 with a goal of GrandMaster Faction: Currently Giant aligned in Velious, but in the process of switching back to dorf/cov. Alternate Characters: I have several alts, however they are played for detox time. Brieah does not feed my alts, they earn their own stuff.
Guild History: Brieah was my 2nd character I ever rolled. (Original is a ranja who is perma parked in Skyfire at the moment) Started as a total newb on this server way back when the server was only 2 months old and banded armor was the THING to have. Brieah and Divad looked for a guild for a long time before finally joining Jinxed. Which was our guild thru 40 some levels. It was in Jinxed that I met my other perma-hunting buddy Bashdur.. Jinxed is a family, a relaxed “Hey How ya doing?” guild. I spent a year as an officer of Jinxed and only stepped down because I felt I needed to move Brieah on to a more raid-oriented guild. I joined Razor’s Edge only weeks before its unfortunate demise and have been unguilded since.
Why Walkers?: I have spent a lot of time looking at guilds to see where I might find a match and after reading guild policies, rules and rosters, Walkers seems to be the best match. I have been making an effort to get to know some of Walker’s members and have attended one raid with you at this point. (PoI dragon). I would love the opportunity to raid/group with Walker’s more often. I was very impressed with what I have seen so far. I hesitate to name names of Walkers I have grouped with (due to my notorious lack of memory) but they include Shaddowe, Whizbang, Pedi, Veng, Thallas, Riverdane, and Camille.
Well what can I offer?: I hope that I would be of value on raids. I know my class and I follow orders well. I have also led a few raids to include many mini-epic fights, Epic fights and planer raids (i.e. Fear). People keep showing up so I must not scare them off too bad. (grin) I like to help others reach their goals in game and don’t mind taking a night to go kill a baddie that has a piece they need. I’m a raid addict so my raid attendance is pretty much guaranteed unless it would interfere that evil real life work thing. I’m currently working towards getting Mass Group Buff.
Special Request: I’m applying at the same time as Divad (my real life Dad) and Bashdur (my loyal dorf sidekick) because we all made the difficult decision to leave Jinxed at the same time to go to a raiding guild. We are sticking out our transition together and would like to settle happily into one guild. We understand we will each be judged on our own merits. However, if Walkers should think that one of us was not right for their guild we would understand completely and the three of us would continue our guild search elsewhere.
Real Life: In real life I’m a 33-year old married Mom of 2 wonderful girls (11 and 7). I live in Michigan (EST). I work for an eye doctor’s office and bill insurance. Hubby plays EQ too but more on the relaxed “hey, I’ll play for an hour or two today” basis.
P.S. And Talvarien.. You still gonna pay you .. you.. Ranja you... Brieah Stormhart 62nd Oracle
