Quote: As far as that goes, why shouldn't 50 walkers be able to kill any named in the game using that same logic? Why? Because the game is set up to make sure that you eventually group up with a certain set of people to see these zones/mobs...I disagree with that. It's as though they're dictating who you need to be with in order to progress in the game. Personally, I don't see why ANY encounter in the game should take more than 50 talented players...
Actually I think there's something you're missing in the answer to your own question, and that has to do with time and progression.
The game is designed so that you build your character, get stronger, and progress on to bigger and better encounters.. If any 50 players could just kill any mob in the game whenever they wanted to there would be no real sense of progression.
Truth is there is very little in the game that 50 Walkers can't kill, given enough time and committment.. Maybe in PoP there are some that take 60 or 70, but you have a long time to recruit a few more people if that's what you really need. Yes, the game guides you towards grouping up with certian people.. people in your general level range, your general equipment range, and with classes that have complimentary abilities. People also tend to group with like-minded friends ">
They key is that you have to work yourselves up to it. You have to build your characters and teamwork skills. As your guild power increases, more doors will open up to you, both figuratively and literally. I know for my guild it's always kind of like this:
~25% of the time we spend trying to kill stuff we have no business killing ~50% of the time we kill stuff that is tough, but generally in our league ~25% of the time we kill stuff that is mostly trivial, for loot or kicks.
Eventually, the stuff we had "no business killing" becomes routine, and we look for new challenges.. I expect it is the same way with you guys.
