PnP game, share your stories

OK, I play 3rd edition DnD PnP game once a week with 5 other guys, all in their 30's, a university professor, a network manager for a well-known telecom coy, me an engineer and a bunch of other engineers h/w and s/w.

Any way, sometimes we invite our wives, SO's to play, once and a while.

So the university physics professor invites his fiancee, a VP at a private girl's school, to play one night. She's a pretty hot number, blonde, works out, etc.

So the prof, who is usally the borderline evil guy in our party with the foul mouth, suddenly turns into to Mr Polite and lawful good.

The DM has his own house with a nice kitchen where we play and drink beer. Picture it. 6 guys, baseball caps turned around to hide our hat head hair, most wearing glasses, in sweat shirts and jeans, loads of dice all over the table, hex maps and little lead figures everywhere, cell phones lying about, Palm Pilots recording the action so we can write up a journal afterwards, I mean, how nerdy can you get?

In comes prof's fiancee. She is blonde, in great shape, and she's wearing a slinky black dress. Prof is falling over himself making room at the table, and she wants to play a paladin, but with see-through armor.

Anyway, the reason I bring this all up, is honestly guys, when playing PnP, the stereotype is well, rather nerdy. So how many times can you honestly say at your game, with your nerdy friends, has a gorgeous woman in a slinky black evening gown sat down to play???

You know, I HAD some D&D stories, but I'm not gonna even try to follow that one.

Ummm....last time I checked, PnP was an acronym for "Plug n Play."

All my PandP stories revolve around geeks drinking beer and eating pizza and no women in sight dammit. But we did have one DM who turned all our characters into Demi-Gods and gave out very high end loot all the time. He was a good DM, I liked him, and I still have the paperwork on my demi-god cleric and all my dice from back then.

But I have no stories about it, as I'm not really a big pen and paper gamer :p

Palladium: Kinda like a mix between Middle Earth RPG and DnD.

Group of about 10 of us.

Getting chased by about 50 orcs, we run into this small room with a heavy oak door.

Orcs are closing in fast, we barely get into the room and bar the door when one of our members exclaims with glee, "I put my foot against it!"

Time stops. GM (Myyrth by the way) is in awe. Orcs are mezzed by this cunning act of tomfoolery.

Forget about practicle physics or laws of motion. This genius thinks that there is no possible way 50 orcs could bust through a door when he has his foot against it. He defended it mercilessly, to our amazement.

This was many years ago and I forget a lot of the details on this one to flesh out the story more. But you get the point. It was one of those gaming moments that has stuck in my head for about 12 years.

I played Palladium for a short time, had a whole section of classes that dealt with summoning circle right? - Also played Paranoia - now that was a game which required some skilz as a GM

I was usually the only girlie at our D&D sessions, but on some occasions we had more. And yes, we do exist. Aunix and Izabel game as well. Though I can't say I am really that big into PnP as much as I used to be.
