I can't stop playing this ...

My friend(Larn) has always been interested in 'words' ... well more like, words that have no real reason for being words, yet exist. I have kept an ear open for some of these oddities of th english language, and a couple weeks ago came across this gem:

Floccinaucinihilipilification

Now, generally, I wouldn't be too awfully excited about this. Larn was pretty taken with the wod when I first sent the spelling to him, and the meaning(go look it up!)

The icing on the cake was ... Larn just sent me a lady SAYING this word, and now I am in love!

I have played this over, and over, and over again at work today ... boss wants to 'have a word with me' ... I told him to pronounce this word and he could fire me LOL! yes, i still ahve my job Very Happy

Definition: an act or instance of judging something to be worthless or trivial

You know there's some professor somewhere that was getting off on himself by creating this word and sneaking it into the dictionary. Smile
