Level 70 runes

Well last Saturday everyone who wanted a 69 rune, got one.

So, now I am going to start looking at mobs that drop level 70 runes. Does anyone have any suggestions on mobs that drop level 70 runes that we can target after a DoN progression raid? A post here, or a PM, work just as well. Thanks.

Hi Kelci, i'm not sure if there is just one mob that drops the glowing runes other than camping RSS & the occasional very lucky drop in MPG. Confused

You would think there would be some mobs dropping them in DOD, but I can't remember seeing any.

MPG has been pretty good of late, at least when I've been there. MPG trials are good for glowing runes, too.

Glowings drop randomly, but like others have mentioned the best camps for them are MPG Trials, MPG Groupable mobs, Riftseekers camp in RSS though Statue/Fountain may drop some as well. There is no mob which always drops glowing unfortunately. Perhaps doing a few groups in RSS/MPG on a few nights could be beneficial ... XP, loot and runes Smile

I know that I did a few raids there with Walkers back in the day Wink

I have seen some decent drop rates in the RSS downstairs/basement area (but you've gotta make sure you've got some good resists going on, or it's a short lived trip down there), unfortunately I've had some craptacular rolls in my expeditions. Smile

Thanks for the ideas.

Now that we seem to have Emoush and the Perseverence raids done for this month, I think I will add a harder raid mob as the 2nd hit of the night. By that I mean a raid mob in OOW that has a chance of dropping the level 70 runes (and the 69 ones). I have a few ideas, but I don't care to mention them in the general section.
