Would that be an 8x AGP or PCI express? I'm all giddy about express. I know I won't have a PC with it for a year or two though.

There's an endless range of 6800's. The high-end Ultra with 256 memory is retailing for just a little over $500, and you won't find a 6800 w/ 256 for much cheaper. You can get lesser versions of it in the $400 range easy.

The 6800 is being produced for both AGP and PCI-E. Very Happy

Being too lazy to actually search on the internet to understand the difference/advantages between AGP and PCI-E, could someone give me the low-down?

Thanks!

Haven't been able to locate a seller with a 256 PCI-E model, either. That's not saying much right now though, because PCI-E hasn't really caught on yet. Producing $600 video cards that won't sell to anyone but the top 5% computer geeks on Earth just isn't economical.

As much as I've always been staunchly in support of ATI, I am probably going to try out one of nVidia's newer 6600gt PCI-E cards next time I upgrade.
