Went today to look once again for an EQ card...STILL NOTHING!!!! Sad My poor pally's armor is getting all rusty and collecting cobwebs. I might just have to go out of town. Which I hate doing with gas prices as they are, but it is freakin boring playing puzzle games, Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3 have lost their appeal for me, hmmm maybe i'll re-install grand theft auto Smile

I asked them if they could order some, and they told me "well we don't do that" like WTF??? apparently its luck of the freakin draw. The guy in the store told me that they literally don't know what they are being shipped as far as anything software related. It was either that or he said "I am a freakin moron." can't remember Smile

Perhaps I'm just expressing my own concern about it.

Maybe I will catch you again Varthon - at least this explains why our paths haven't crossed in last few times I have been online.

Well Varth, if it was a store like Gamestop or maybe even EB (I am not quite sure, we don't have one here) then they really don't know. Used to work at one and they send out games and supplies at random. Believe me... we'd get a shipment of memory cards and look at our two columns of them on hooks and wonder where we should put them but a popular game? Hell no we won't get more than like 5. My favorite was when we get those random old WTF is this crapo games. Keep in mind that it wasn't ALWAYS like this, just sometimes.... ya gotta wonder.

On a side note, I think we should start some sort of movement to get you back online. Very Happy

Damn, Varth. Where do you live that Best Buy is so far away? In that same 45 minutes, I could drive to something like 73 Best Buy stores Razz

Neko, the only store we have locally that carried them at all is Fred Meyer, I
think the way they get their electronics shipments is, a truck comes in full of various unmarked boxes, and the Fred Meyer crew picks a few random boxes, then they put on party hats, break out the keg, and open the boxes to marvel at what ever is inside them, could be games, could be a spare tire, who knows. Smile

Daneloire... we don't HAVE a Best Buy to my knowledge.

hehe and Varth, now looking over your situation again I'm convinced that they break open the boxes and keep all the good stuff for themselves and leave out all the other stuff that no one wants. Razz I can't even say I have heard of Fred Meyers.... the island is small in comparison, what can I say?
