If you're getting blue-screens after OOW releast...

My laptop, running an ATI FireGL 9000 graphics chip was giving me a blue screen of death every time I tried to hit the "Connect to server" button in EQ. My desktop system was working fine with an NVidia card.

I had read some rumblings on the EQLive tech boards about problems with ATI cards. But I found one post saying to remove your EQClient.ini file and repatch. That seemed to fix the problem for me. I can now log in on my laptop.

One thing to note though is that you will lose your custom color settings and key bindings. You may want to keep a copy of your original EQClient.ini so you can copy and paste those sections into the new one.

I'm not exactly sure what section was causing the problem. I just thought I'd share this with everyone in case you have the same problem.
