I am heading back to my home of Innothule swamp and Grobb, where I was born and where I shall die fighting the wretched frogloks.
As most of you have noticed I hardly play EQ anymore. It has just been a long time coming for this, and with the new expansion coming out I felt that now is as good as time as any to hang up the grind and go back to hiding in the swamp. I really have zero intrest in grinding my character up to lvl 70, but want to leave the game while I am still at the top (makes me feel like I didnt leave things unfinished). I will still be lurking the MB often as I am a Troll and all..
When I started this game 3 years ago, I had my own starting list of goals to accomplish, reaching lvl 60, getting my epic 1.0, and reaching the elusive Sleepers Tomb. After playing for awhile I got made a couple other goals like getting to PoM (yes the REAL PoM) killing Cazic Thule, Innoruk, and most importantly as many people probably know, to Kill Tunare, which we did recently.
I have had a lot of fun getting to play with all of you, and I hope anything I did was never taken seriously or personally, and that you enjoyed having me around as well. You all have been the reason that I have stuck around as long as I have, and I hope that we can go kick some ass together in WoW or EQ2 maybe.
I will be canceling my account, but not selling or anything like that, I worked to hard to make Burab a character and dont think that anyone else could do him justice. I dont know how much time I have left on my account, so I may still pop in to say goodbye in person soon. Heck even a abscure raid may peek my intrest, who knows.
Wow, this post is about 10 time longer than I had imagined it would be, but saying goodbye is so damn hard, if Trolls had tear ducts, I think I might actually cry.... /sigh
So anytime your near Grobb think kindly of me, for I will always remember the good times we all had.
Stay in touch,
Burab aka

You were one of the few trolls that I liked Burab, it was damn fun playing EQ with you. It was even better meeting you on my CO trip, I will be back that way soon, ya'll can't get rid of me now.
Keep hounding me for that Horde guild invite in WoW, I promise I will do it. _________________ Xecutioner Smith(retired) Dread Lord of Walkers

This could be so much fun
Burab - I am glad you did make it to PoM because it was nice talking with others about those quests. Sorry you never got your white crown. I still have a bunch of Words of Wealth on Caylik that I have even thought about destroying since SOE destroyed the charm of PoM.
I am glad you did finally get a chance to watch Tunare go splat. You can check your account on the eqlive side - just login to your account and look at registration I believe. That will show when the account expires. _________________ Retired (or mostly retired) to WoW
