Definately wasnt a fan of the CS mod for half-life, the gamehalf-life itself I loved, thoguht it had a great single player story and some of the best AI around, made it fun for me. Im more of a vehicle fan, love games like bf1942/DC halo, unreal, etc... Cant wait for half-life2 (like it will ever actually release)

I really dig CS tons. Atom and I have been playing on a CALstyle server based out of Colorado that kicks some but recently. I also just got turned on to UT2k3 (was $15, not buying 2k4 until I know I'll like it). Next weekend I'm going to a LAN party that has UT2K4 and Battlefield, so I'll let ya's know if I like those also Smile

I played CS from the very beginning when you had to type in exactly what kind of weapon you wanted and had to know the type of ammo it took, and if you bought the wrong kind you were farked. When you could run the guns of dead people of to your spawn point so you didn't have to buy them next round, and there were no bots.. ahh those were the days. Then it got all commercial and shitty... sorta like EQ!

only thing with enemy territory is you have to make sure punkbuster is updated or you will keep getting booted. if it wont do it automatically you can do it by going to www.evenbalance.com and saving it in the PB folder int he ET directory.

I have played almost every game that is listed in this thread. Just never on a server other than the LAN within our shops while I was enlisted. I'd be willin to dig out some of my disks if I still have them around and get in on some of it. I know I dont have CS anylonger. gave it to a friend when I was getting burn out.

Heh, i forgot about Rainbow Six games. I was playing Rogue Spear for a good while when it first came out. Played Raven Shield for a little while, i actually still have that installed on one of my comps here.

Ghost Recon is another great game. I was addicted to that for a good long while. I go through shooters like crazy. Will play them for 4-6 months and then stop and then move on to the next. The only ones that keep my attention are like Unreal Tournament, UT03 and UT04, Quake 3, Battlefield 1942, not so much of BF Vietnam. SoF 2, CoD, and Halo. Still adjusting to Doom 3.

Half-Life 2 release date is currently at November 1st 2004. Remember last week at work (EB Games), we get a sheet of all the releases and updates and i saw HL2 was change from 9-1-04 to 11-1-04, i was like FUCK. Oh well. Anyways, i should head to class and stop using up time on campus computers =P Laters.
