It's a decent hometown type newpaper. They do a lot about what's going on locally. All of their stuff about the rest of Colorado and the nation is stuff from other papers. Of the AP wire and such. I wouldn't call them the nations best, but they aren't half bad. I read it every day at work.

Wow.. i'd like to think that an editor would make a bit more than that! Especially in CO where the cost of living is high.

The cost of living is mostly high in and about the Denver metro area (and the Republic of Boulder).

Journalism pays for shit. And remember, reporters get paid less than editors ...

Glad to know the paper's a goody. My current plan is to stay around my paper for two years, unless the editor in chief of the daily gets replaced with someone who doesn't need to be punched in the head repeatedly, so I may well be firing resumes in the direction of Greeley at some point.

Greeley is only an hour from Denver. But that hour almost splits the cost of rent in half!
