Greetings Walkers. Due to your guild's helpfulness in joint raids, and hosting so many Hedge runs, I would like to help some Alliance members also get some flags, starting with POJ trials. I'm not an officer of OOA, nor am I an experienced event leader...just want to help. Earlier tonight we tried a spur of the moment run which didn't work out very well due to time constraints and other factors.

I want to try again, though with a group setup that will work better.

My preferred method:
Core Group:
65 Healer
65 Tank
65 Slower/DPS (BST/Shammy/Chanty with charmed pet)
65 CC (Bard or Chanty with charmed pet)
65 Desummoner (Mage or Druid)

and 1 person needing the flag.

Variations are substituting desummoner with another person needing the flag and of course not having the Core Group all level 65, but preferably at least 4 Core Group members at over 60.

To the best of my knowledge, that setup will work the best. In cases where a chanty steps up for the #4 position I would of like to stay in the trial staging ground to med between attempts. I am of course, open to suggestions.

When I would like to do this:
Right now I'm thinking before or after Sunday Hedge runs with Carmelle. 2 PM or 9 PM EST as we can get the right people. (Hey Carmelle..please send me some feedback on the times)

OOAtrial will be the default channel if people are interested. Flaggings would be mains first, and even then on a first come, first come basis. Suggestions and feedback are welcome.

Hi Scan, another method of getting through trials that is very effective is to AE them.

Group makeup:
Tank
Healer
Chanter
Wizard
Another AE class (wiz, mage, etc.)
person needing flag

I have done trials this way more times than I can count and you would be surprised how well it works.

Just an idea for next time

And I would also like to thank you for stepping up to lead these, trials can be excruciating at times.

Feel free to send me a tell on any of my toons to help. Very Happy

Too true. If we go for one this week I'll be trying for the 2 PM time since we have a late afternoon hit.

You're welcome. If we can't get one going, there's always next week, right?

3 OOA Flagged, and 1 Walkers friend. Was a bit rocky, but we did it.

Thanks Talos and Reebe. There may not be much interest in this flag but I will help as needed. Mains before alts as always, and my email is here:

Scandal@cfl.rr.com

If it comes down to only OOA members needing Trials I will try to get them done within our our guild first.

I am like Brel - been on too many POJ to even count. Started doing them with Zig but then there was the one dayPOJ trial marathon we did with SK Tank, Mezzer, Cleric, Wizard, DPS/other, other. We had people coming by and buffing us and it turned into close to 8 hours of doing trials.

We even had a monk (cant remember if was with a shammy or not) working on keeping basement cleared so that people could run to Muavin quickly.

River might remember that night - it was the night he was licking the carpet for food Very Happy (He said that and it is one of the FEW things that stuck in my brain).

What I am getting at? If you want help just hollar. Some of us have ran over to just buff people, cleared basement, or just come to chat away an hour or so while afking.
