Since the patch a while back that changed the login screen for the game, I have had an odd problem. I can get to the screen where it wants me to type in my password, but when I click on that field and attempt to type it in, nothing happens. BUT, if I click on the Account button, which starts opening a browser window in the background, and then return to the password field, I can then input my password and log in.
I have reinstalled EQ from scratch and the problem persists. Any ideas? And anyone else having this problem?

I have to click the mouse in the upper left corner of the screen. For some reason my real mouse is ghosted off the login screen and a fake mouse is somewhere over the login. When i click in the upper left (I cant see the mouse move or anything but thats where I am putting the invisible/ghost mouse) then the fake mouse pointer becomes my real mouse pointer. |
