It started about mid February, that things were acting strangely...couldnt restore to earlier dates, scanning not working properly and finally that windows wouldnt finish booting. After moving here, took to shop and FIX it and whatever costs. Guy took 8 days getting rid of every imaginable virus/spyware/etc etc etc.......as a professional, it was said to be the worst and most horrific infestation he had ever seen, so the only thing he said he could do was try and restore the whole thing as close to the original state that was possible. That was the first time I took it to him....was followed up two more times within as many weeks. As far as how it acts now, EQ plays like I am in the PoK with the whole damn server condensed into that zone. I have NO tech knowledge of these cursed machines, but can follow direction if you think it possible to troubleshoot via posts. Thanks for asking btw, Ely and the worst thing that could possibly happen if nothing works, is that I would be FORCED to buy a whole brand new system....))

Definately go with the new system. hehehe
Or do a Hard Drive reformat and reinstallation from scratch. After that, you'll be surprised at how little junk you really need.
