I think the "choked up" response is caused by the fact that the code that is executed when Jenny replies is run at the exact moment you hit the submit button on your post. Her reply is then generated but is sometimes saved to the database the instant AFTER the requery is done for the page refresh. This sometimes causes her reply to show up after the NEXT requery, even though it may have been saved before your next post.

Incidentally, during the last database backup I did (which I should really start doing weekly instead of monthly), Jenny's database has grown to be THREE TIMES the size of the message board's database. While this is good for Jenny, it is bad for disk space usage, and incidentally hard on bandwidth as I have to download the entire thing whenever I do a backup. I'm going to have to present this to Tyranimus as it is his disk, and if a resonably large amount of people reply to the Jenny poll that they want her off, I might comply with it. Her banter is amusing, but not at the cost of server hardware. Razz
