this is going to sound weird but every once in a while my pc takes a rest breack (slows down to a ceawl) and in 5 min is fine again i have looked high and low for what might be doing this but no go on the finding part

Gigabit motherboard –raid control not over clocked roasted the last one that way LOL
Adaptec ultra 320 SCSI
2 Seagate Cheetah 15K.3 73 gig hard drives some night the whine is nasty LOL
NVIDIA Gforce3 Ti500 128 meg mem
A cheap ass Acer cdrw drive
A Plextor DVD r/rw-cdr/rw
450-watt power
Cordless Logitech mouse and keyboard
A Samsung sync master 19” viewable monitor
1 gig memory DDR
And I flat bed scanner USB
A shit load of software and then some LOL

Keep in mind i didn't run out and by all this in a day it has taken me about a year to put it together

I only asked because my work computer is doing the exact same shit to me, and I can't think of any reason why it would do that except for the fucking VIA chipset. I'd replace it, but I plan on leaving this company soon, and I don't consider it worth my time.
