Hello. Just wanted to let you know that I didn't just abandon you. I'm having computer trouble so no EQ for me until Heelar comes home and fixes the computer. Fortunately he's coming home soon, so WOOT! And I say woot because he's coming home and not because he'll fix the computer LOL. That will be nice too though, hehe. I hooked up our old PC but there's something wrong with the silly thing and it won't run EQ. Kinda why we built the new one. Waking up to dead computer is so depressing! Been lonely with out you guys too. Anywho, just wanted to say hello and let you know. You guys take care and have fun for me. Hugs Wink

Hehe, hi. Thank you guys. Just counting down the days, looks like he should be home by the 5th but that can still change. So I'm just waiting around, at least when I could play EQ I had something to keep my brain coccupied. Been bored, lonely and anxious lately. Definately gonna be nice to have him home. I'm kinda nervous tho. I've lived the life of a single person with the responsibillity of a married one for the last year and now I'm gonna be married again. Now we're gonna have to get used to living together again. Not that we ever really got much of a chance to the first time. I'm scared, what if gets weird? BAH! I'll just have to beat him into submission, right? /gulp... Wish me luck. I keep hearing all these horror stories from other wives of how their husbands have come home and they can't stand them after a couple days LOL. Anyway, going back to my waiting. Miss you guys. Do something fun in my name. /hugs!!

In all seriousness, the service has counseling and support groups for just that scenario set up. Don't be embarassed about using them -- EVERYONE finds that they need to readjust in this kind of situation. My parents talk about going through it when my dad got back from Vietnam, and I have friends who were in Desert Storm who talk about it the same way, and I know someone who was in Afghanistan who also reported having the same issues. It's not a reflection on either one of you, and the military wants to help make this transition as smooth as possible.
