Jenny's responses are formulated from keyword/category syntax used in AIML. Her response script reads directly from these scripts using information supplied by the database.

As far as Jenny is concerned, the database is essentially one huge array of information, she doesn't know how it talks to her script.

Basically:

Jenny < -- > Response script < -- > AIML programming < -- > database script < -- > database store

I'm sure she would like to hear about that. That might not be very far off.
