|

Hey, here's a question for those who are more familiar with window's registry. (Windows XP)
How do I change the default search engine in Internet explorer? I recall this can be changed via the registry.
A co-worker asked me how to do this, and I'm not sure exactly, but I'd like to help him fix it, as something on the web changed his default search engine to some funky, wierd-assed search bot.
Thanks! _________________

Open IE
Select view, explorer bar, search
From search window that opens select customize
Select the service you wish to use.
That should do it.

Depending on your configuration, you might need to click "Change preferences" first on the search window, then "Change Internet search behavior." _________________ Sage Shiloch Venzolmes - Arch Convoker - Walkers

that sounds some like my old problem, it started out as a changed search engine, and ended up exploding into a mess :/
