I have the same problem with my kiddos : I changed their setup to use wireless KB and mouse and they ended up loosing both each evening...
I put back the wired KB and mouse and follow the wires to find them now....

Sorry Razz couldn't resist Razz

Does hitting the Connect buttons on the keyboard and the receiver help at all? I have a wireless one at home, I have lost control of it temporarily but I've always been able to get it back, either by pressing the connect buttons or repositioning the receiver.

Question: Do you use the Logitech KB drivers?

I would try uninstalling them if you are. MOST of the buttons work w/o special drivers in WinXP.

I don't use the KB drivers personally.

Just something to try.
