Hello from Shev and several questions

Howdy All!

It is wonderful to see the Walkers doing so great and having much fun. I haven't played in about a year, and I am thinking of doing a little gaming, so Iam wondering if I could ask for a little tech help:

1) I closed my account months ago. It is gone for good, right?

2) I have been reading up a little on on-line games. EQ still seems the most fun and popular. Yah? Shadowbane, DAoC = poopy compared to this, yah?

3) Is the EQ played on Playstation the same game? Can I play on Playstation and still interact with PC players?

4) Can anyone do interpretive dance moves like Shevik>? I double doubt it!!!

Well, I am not a Walker, but:

1. According the SoE, yes. In actuality, no. Your characters are very probably still there. You just need to reactivate your account.

2. No comment.

3. NO, PS EQ is not the same as the PC game, and you may not interact with PC players.

I can answer one part of question 2 relating to Shadowbane. Shadowbane though having a lot of potential is NOT a good game. I played it for quite a while and helped to run a guild there. It has massive massive technical issues, incredible lag, and very little to do in the end game unless you like to greif people. DAoC I know nothing about.

1. Same answer as Islena, My account was down for several months before i came back and all was still there. LOL i even still had buffs from a Raid.

2 Twisted Evil

Atomick's comments on Shadowlag are a lot nicer than what i have to say about it... not only are there SEVERE tech issues the supprot is NILL. No exp with DAoC but i hear good things from those I know that do play.

3. I Beta tested the PS2 version and its loosley based on EQ it take place in a time long long b4 the EQ you know. My final comment to the Devs was it was "a great game for the younger players". If i did not have a home PC and was really jonesing for EQ I might play. I dont know what has changed since i played it

If you play Shadowbane, you won't be like other people. Everyone will make fun of you and you'll get cancer and die... slowly. A very laggy death too, I have no doubt. (Just my opinion.)

1) Your acount stays available for 3 months after you cancel it if im not mistaken. Confused

2) EQ> all the rest...nuff said Cool

3) Console games are strictly for playing Madden 2004 and GTA 3 period. RPG's have no home there IMO Very Happy

4) Giasta....I see you stalking me and missin my Uber kitty Lubbins so why dont you just get it over with and put your app in. You will be happier here than you have been since the old-school OPO days..TRUST ME Wink

Yesterday, after my account had been closed for a year or so, I tried logging and sure enough, my account was there. Toooo bitchin'!

EQ looks awesome and though I almost died because I couldn't remember how to play or how to get out of the Burning Woods (my last camp: I had been hanging with Elyhim) I managed to find my way to Thurgadin via a potion and now I just gotta mess around a bit.

I was only asking about PS2 becasue that way my ex-girlfriend (now wife) could help/watch.

I am probabluy going to the east coast for work to clean up after Isabella but then I will mess around with EQ a bit more, I hope.

Look forward to seeing you guys around!

You helped wamdar long ago when I was young and in Magic Reign Me kindra and another neb 3 shamans in the cauldron <-- i think thats how you spell it lol.
