Big, slow, and beautiful. Free form tempo and 6 minutes long. A single acoustic guitar and vocal. Probably the prettiest piece I have ever written.
The Circle
Once in a lifetime ago I saw you dance at the top of the stairs to the sky Late in the afternoon sun, you raised up your arms In a lovers embrace Then as you slowly turned round and we came face to face We formed a circle unbroken
Lost in a dream without love I wandered this world like a ghost in some silent parade I sang my song to the sky, nobody heard But it echoed your name I found myself running back through the days long ago For love is a circle unbroken
Angel dance on a golden thread Of the sun that shines on days gone by Angel dance to me again For love is a circle unbroken
I found you dancing alone Under a summer sky bright with the light of the moon I sang a song to the sky, you cried out my name Like a lovers embrace Then as you slowly turned round once again face to face Our love was a circle unbroken
Angel dance on a silver strand Of the moonlight that falls on our yesterdays Angel dance to me again For love is a circle unbroken
Once in a lifetime ago I saw you dance at the top of the stairs to the sky |

Haunting. Definitely channeling some Hank Williams here. It's nice as it is, but I would love to hear some subtle pedal steel in the background just to add some atmosphere. Maybe just some nice big hall reverb FX on it. It's less commercial sounding than some of your other stuff, but no less worthy for that. _________________ Tryunn Tue`Imajynn |

Thanks bro, I'm getting to a point where I need the instruments that I don't own/can't play. I would like to hear a violin on this piece. It might just redline the cheese o'meter, but I'm too deep in to care ATM. To me this is a real bard song, leaning against a tree with a lute, singing for the Queen's favor. It could make her knees suddenly start hating each other lol. Headless bard LFG. |

Cheese sells, my friend. I don't think this is cheesy at all... until I start picturing elves playing lutes. _________________ Tryunn Tue`Imajynn |
