EQ broken

Every time I try to log on to EQ, I get to the part where it asks for the account password, then when I put it in and hit connect, it immediately dumps me to the desktop. Freaking wierd.

Sounds like you might need to delete some main files in your EQ directory and re-patch it.

Are you using a personalize interface? If yes, go back to the default one by edititing the UI ini file and try

EQ did not like the fact that I was trying to access the game from a non-administrator account in WinXP. /shrug

If it was WIN XP pro and you don't have ADMIN rights it will be default lock you out of a few systemn files and such. That's why it says to install from an admin account and such. Check your permissions settings.
