WinME sucks ass

ok, I've done 4 fdisks, formats and installs of ME in the past, due to the inherent ability of ME to slowly devour itself and then die. I finally got XP, (no, not the upgrade, the full version) and hope all will be well. HOWEVER, if there are any problems I'm going to experience right off the bat that you guys might know about, please let me know. "> Thanks,

Without going through the list, everything checked out on the H.C.L., which I checked before installing XP.

I've also done the windowsupdate.microsoft.com stuff, which took forever on dialup.

I shouldn't have any hardware issues, but am curious if there's anything about the OS that might be quirky.

Btw, I formated it all as NTFS, and have a 40gb master, and a 20gb slave HDD.
