Personally i think it says something if a guy goes out and LOOKS for a gift for you. I'd love to come home and find my husband has made dinner, candles and all.. but most imprortanly got me a nighty or something. when i go out and get stuff from vickies or fredricks, i look for something he might like.. its nice to think you guys go into those stores and look for something you might like to see us in. They just want rich Amerikan husbands. The more Amerikan you are, and the more money you have, the more wives you can get. Oh, and if you have a pickup truck, apparantly that helps, too. I'm a broke Canadian who drives a honda, so they weren't interested in me. Not all American women want rich husbands Rych. Some of us aren't that shallow. Yeah most of them are, but not all. I for one, have no care about materialistic things (jewelry, flashy cars, etc.), N'ral got me one of those huge balloons that you can have stuff put into and in it was a teddy bear, a golf visor, and a golf shirt with a handful of Reese's minicups and I was extremely happy with it.
As for the vehicles (Buick IS my favourite car Jaffod "> ), N'ral drives a Ford Tempo and I have the ultimate in "Mom car", a Plymouth minivan. If I were as materistical as a lot of my fellow country women, we wouldn't have these vehicles.   ">
