Cyn, something tells me that this was brought up because of our wonderful bout (well, my monk and your chanter) with the Dervs and orcs at the Derv camp in Oasis. If it wasn't for a 30+ cleric and druid, as well as a 44 monk came to help out, as awful as those trains were, we woulda been toast. I'll have to admit, Cyn sure knows a little bit about most classes (although I wanna see her as a ranja! ) and it was because of her mez that our healers didn't really have to do a whole lot. At many times, I was ROFL because I'd finish up one mob, turn around, and there would be a nice line that Cyn had mezzed. It was like at DMV with the long lines and them waiting in line, and I'd be like, "Next!" and kill the next one in line. I believe we both got roughly 3 yellow each in about an hour's time. Great exp considering we were partnered and sharing the exp between us. I've tried playing my chanter, and it is hard...having no control over your pet AND trying to keep control of the mob/environment. Too many variables, and if one thing goes wrong, then *WHAM* could be a whole wipeout. _________________

actually Try's post on priv board stirred this in me~ i thought itd make a good poll...
Quote: I'll have to admit, Cyn sure knows a little bit about most classes
wow thanks! but i still have alot to learn~
Quote: I was ROFL because I'd finish up one mob, turn around, and there would be a nice line that Cyn had mezzed.
its hard to keep a nice line when the mezz duration is so small and i didnt have kei and it was a semi tweeked chanter
but all in all id hafta say its a tie between enchy and cleric.....fast mezzes/slows/haste/etc eek =\ (but at least they guaranteed to get a group within the first hr of LFG~) and cleric with superfast healing everyone etc (if ur in a fast paced group....but same applys with the LFG thing~)
thats why im tryna work on my cleric and chanter...... |

I can imagine the poll for least stressful, especially during raids...RANGER! Ranger goes, ranger pulls, ranger dies, enough said.
And, Cyn...I said you knew a LITTLE bit of each class. I wasn't sayin' you were an expert or anything for each. Although, I'd like to see ya go crazy playing a melee only character...warrior...monky...heheheh _________________

Nah, Necro's definately have it easier than Ranger's. Granted sitting at your bind spot naked all night isn't too hard, but making up that exp when noone wants a Ranger is a bit stressful. Nerple Reveler 60 Vile Tunarean Warder Demure _________________

I actually think that my shamen/ranger mains are a good 'no stress' combo. Rangers always die - and if you get a ton of resists on debuff then shammy is a corpse too.
44 levels of rangerdom really does make you immune to CR related stress Who needs FEIGN death when I can do the real thing _________________ Is it paranoia when they really ARE out to get you? |

I voted for ench, since there is not an option for those little gnomes on warcraft that run into stuff and blow up. Mildane _________________ - Epic stick figure - |

You guys say the Rangers have the less stress esp during raid..i have to disagree, and here is why, 1.. if groups are getting full or late comers have arrived rangers get moved from groups first to make room for others (real melees as most say)( blah rangers tank good also) so we usally end up in the group with no healer or with a pally (not that they are bad but most will heal them selfs or the caster in group before you). 2. you know there is know real healer in your group so you stand back and just plug away with arrows, hence, ever 2 seconds some caster is running in front of you to target the mob and continues to stand there and you keep hitting them in the back with your arrows, so you move, hence now the caster on his horse has to move also and where does he go in your line of sight again. And you say rangers dont have stress, i have to disagree and i didnt list them all i could go on and on and on. Not that this is happening in this guild just things i have seen in my many raids.
good day "> _________________

Nah, Archery is a huge blessing on raids. Been raiding pretty much constantly lately and am thankful I have EQ for all of the archery I have been unsing. 2 prime exampes. 1. Clearing fear to get to CT. Pulling mobs by ten at a time, it gets annoying follow the MA around and whacking at mobs, and trying to figure out what mob in the chaos the MA is going to. Just lean back and plunk arrows and let them autotarget, cluimb up the wall a slight bit to avoid LOS issues, and you stay out of those annoying dispellers range. 2.) Aerin'Dar. His AE is nasty and is large enough (250 Range I hear) that all casters must be in it, but not Rangers, just go to the side of the chamber and you can plunk him and watch the AE kill all of your friends. It's also good for just avoiding Damage Shields which I hate with a passion.
Granted Archery is annoying in indoor zones, but for outdoor they are great, just swing to the side to avoid casters getting in the way. Nerple Reveler 62 Vile Tunarean Warder _________________

Yeah, and being a ranger. I find that it is sometimes hard to click the rez button when your mouse is dirty. Mildane _________________ - Epic stick figure - |
