I had a few corpses at teh bottom of the dog pile of Forggies in there. First time I have ever died in Grobb... Screw that Gukta crap, it will always be Grobb!!!!

And yes Frog does taste like chicken.

They poured out of Guk by the hundreds: frogloks, determined to take back the Innothule and conquer Grobb, and drive out the trolls.

So, of course, I had to stick my nose in ...

In the end, the froggies were victorious, and claimed Grobb for their own, renaming it Gukta. (Note, everyone now has their default faction setting for Frogloks of Gukta: Goods are amiable or better, newts are indifferent and evils are KOS. There's apparently a bone chip quest in the shaman area that can improve things.)

The new froggies, perhaps remembering my youthful indiscretions in Guk regarding a certain Ghoulbane sword remained somewhat suspicious:

But, DAMN, don't they look cool in their robes? And no, I have no idea what robe that is. Kedge, maybe?

Apparently Wizzies dont have good enough sense to run away or gate :p At least not the Gnome variety.

You'd think they'd upgrade the trolls to the new image for the raid ! ?

Nral, in some hometowns like Ogguk and Grobb, there is a mix of old models and new models. The new models were typically trainers or a few select new NPC vendors while the rest remained old models. So that's why you see old models being fought -- there was a new model troll begging for his life though! Check out the link:

I am pretty sure it depends on what settings you have it for. I have old troll models on, and only say old when I toured Gukta last night.
