Okay so the new toy is Photoshop (it's also one of my online classes) and I'm having WAY to much fun with it. See what I mean:

Bookmark the link in my sig. People have been sharing their "tips" in how to do things in Photoshop. One person even demonstrated how we can create our own lightning effects (better than trying to find a picture of a thunderstorm!). And all those toon sigs you see me making? Got my start with pen tool in 5.5. I'm serious. All I did was find a nice cartoon I liked, made a new layer and "traced" the outline on top of it. Then I filled in the armor details from there.
When you get 7.0, I'll show ya a nifty tutorial site that does amazing things for fonts. It's how I got the flames for Sanebla's sword done in like ten easy steps!

Wow Lorie!! Looks great "> Children are like sponges. They absorb all of your strength and leave you limp, but give them a squeeze and you get it all back. |

I'm still debating on wether or not I should go out and get Adobe Photoshop or Corel Draw. Heard that Draw is going out of style bigtime, but I kinda liked it better when I was using both. That was a long time ago though, last version of Photoshop I had was 5.5, and Draw 9. (I think it was 9) Elnrik |

I haven't played with Corel Draw, what I have played with is NetStudio and Paint Shop Pro, until we got Photoshop and now I'm actually using all three of them; have to since I wasn't able to save a picture as a gif or jpeg in Photoshop (which is my only complaint about it). I love the creative freedom that the program gives, which I made use of with my last assignment and my final in Photoshop (short term course - nine weeks only). I think I'll be doing a LOT of work with Photoshop now for banners and the like...and thanks Leo for the link, it's bookmarked here on my work computer and will be bookmarked on my home system.
