My name is Sanabien and I am an eqaholic. er... oops... wrong forum for that.

What I meant to say is that I am wanting to join Walkers. Actually, my brother and I both are wanting to join Walkers. I created Jemand Verbieten over a year ago, and I have lead it ever since. The problem is that it was a small guild, and as the members got higher in levels, they started leaving to join bigger guilds. I have watched my last friend leave Jemand Verbieten for a larger guild, and I am not going to do it anymore, so I am going to be quiting as the leader of Jemand Verbieten in hopes of finding some fun in the game that I use to know.

I live in the central time zone and I play every week night from 7pm to 2am. On the weekends, I am on all the time. As you can see, I wasn't kidding when I said I am an EQaholic.

I am a level 57 cleric ( 2 ticks from level 58 because I died just now on a raid in Chardok and lost my level ) with very nice gear. I am currently about 30% through my epic having obtained the blood soaked plasmatic priest robe from the Temple of Solusek Ro.

My goal is to see more of the end game content with out having to give up my work and social life to do so I hear that is something that is possible in Walkers.

I look forward to seeing some of you in game soon.

I am looking to get in to a group with some walkers tonight. I am a 58 cleric and my brother is a 55 paladin, so if any of you want to come meet us (or for those of you that know us that want to come catch up on old times), send me a tell in game.

I am having difficulty getting in groups with Walkers. I have been trying to contact various members all week to setup groups, but as of yet, I have only managed to get in to one group with Walkers members.

I'm just kinda curious... is this part of the plan? To see if the new applicants can wait long enough with out contact before giving up and applying else where?

Just letting you know that I am looking to group with as many of you as possible, but kinda starting to get a little discouraged.

Our application process is more about being thorough than about being fast. It takes 3 nominators, people who actually know you enough to support you as a member, and 10 more people to vote yes for you. Its not easy to become a Walker, and I think we collectively like it that way. If you are tired of waiting after a few days.... well, I think many of us had to wait well over a month to gain enough support for membership. We like our members to be people we can be proud of, not their characters or classes they play but the people themselves, and it takes time to learn about the people behind the character.

well... I wasn't saying I was getting tired of waiting. I said I was getting flustrated with trying to find Walkers to group with so that you could get to know me.

Oh well... I am trying. I can't force you to group with me haha.

I'm always on Spaeeazz either as Sanabien or my twinked alt monkey named Lomarr. I play between 6pm and 2am Monday through Friday, and I am online just about all day Saturday and Sunday unless I have real life stuff going on. In other words, it should be pretty darn easy to find me. ">

Speaking of always being online... I had the single best experience group I have had in many weeks last night in PoV, and then we had a major storm roll through town. I had to logoff for the night... grrr... dang weather! Doesn't it know that I am trying to ding?!?!

Took me 3 months or so to become Walker nearly a year and a half ago. Maybe longer, I wasn't keeping track. I quickly figured out it wasn't going to happen soon and I had to adjust my thinking. As best as I could tell there were, um, maybe two other Walkers around my level. Kind of hard to group with 13 different Walkers when the guild was as small as it was and hardly anyone was my level. Lucky for me the entry rules were a little easier back then.

At first I thought Walkers would come find me to test me out but that didn't happen. So I started looking for them. Didn't really find many but I kept at it. Would drop in every two to four weeks and post just so they knew I had not given up. Had my friends hot key set up to also do a /w all walker every zone I went into to hunt to see if I could find one to group with. It was kind of frustrating.

One time I actually found a group of Walkers in zone and one of them was my level! WOOHOO! But he was being PL'ed and they didn't need me. Funny that it still bothers me even to this day.

I think Pedi bent the rules for me out of pity but that's just a guess on my part since I don't think I ever met a 3rd Walker until I joined the guild. /wave Shulzan & Tryun.

Just keep at it.
